$15 by September 17
$30 September 18-20
Day of Registration from 8:00-9:30am

Join us for a 4.25 mile trail run on Meeker's China Wall Trail. Pace yourself as you run up the rocky, steep trail with over 1,000 feet of elevation gain to the top of China Wall. Sprint down the trail to the finish line at Sanderson Hills Park. The trail boast incredible views of Meeker and the landscape of Rio Blanco County. All runners must be at the start line at Ute Park Trailhead by 9:45am. Registration cost includes a t-shirt, which can be picked up at the finish line on race day. This is a challenging race on a narrow and steep trail. Participants must descend via the trail system once they begin the run; there are no opportunities to exit the course on easy terrain. The race is not recommended for individuals not able to complete a trail run. No dogs, bikes, or strollers are allowed on the course.

Stewardship Hike
All Ages
Day of Registration from 9:30-10:30am

Help maintain the trails you enjoy while supporting the 2014 National Public Lands Day (NPLD) on this FREE 4.25 mile stewardship hike on the China Wall Trail with staff from the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Participants will perform a variety of light trail maintenance tasks suitable for all ages while enjoying scenic views along the way. Meet at Ute Park Trailhead at 10:30am. The hike will end at Sanderson Hills Park around 1:00pm. Parent or legal guardian must accompany those 12 and under and be present before the hikes to sign volunteer agreements for those 18 and under. Bring water, snacks, and wear comfortable, sturdy hiking shoes. Participants will receive a NPLD t-shirt in appreciation of their efforts. The ERBM Recreation and Park District will provide transportation back to the trailhead for those in need.
